As a Canadian author, my blood is thick with pen ink and maple syrup (boy, will that ever confuse the coroner one day). I hail from Windsor, Ontario, where we make cars, pizza and, apparently, authors. Most of my works are science fiction or fantasy, but I also dabble in horror, romance, and (very bad) mystery. In my free time, I enjoy baking, camping, and making puns. If I tell you the pun isn’t intended, don’t believe me. The pun is always intended.

I’ve been telling stories for as long as I can remember and writing them down since the writing gods looked upon me and said, “you know what? You should start writing fanfiction.” So, I did. At nine years old, I began writing Star Wars fanfiction. My first original short story was published in a Canadian magazine when I was 13. While I tend to focus on original works nowadays, I do still take inspiration from ancient tales of myth and magic.

I’ve been incredibly fortunate to work with a number of indie presses and magazines over the years. These publishers have helped me bring to life short story collections, novellas, and (soon-to-be-published) novels. I’ve also collaborated with many incredible authors as part of short story anthologies, in many different genres! A few of my favourite works are:

Currently Watching

Sometimes, you just have to rot on the couch with a good TV show or movie. It’s a great way to unwind and ignore your responsibilities. I’m usually always watching one or two shows for the first time, but also have go-to rewatches:
